Behind the Pages

Here I am, captured writing in my journal while overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in Maine in 2016. Since then, I’ve embraced my natural white hair — and I love it!

After 31 years of teaching and supporting deaf and hard-of-hearing students, I retired and turned my lifelong love of paper, art, and storytelling into Memorable Journals.

Having a severe hearing loss since birth, I’ve always found creative ways to connect with others and express myself. I attended about ten different schools — in Ohio, California, another town in Ohio, and Idaho — before eventually attending college in Oregon. Those experiences taught me adaptability, resilience, and the value of capturing life’s moments along the way. Journaling feels like a natural part of that — a quiet, thoughtful space to reflect and remember.

Now, from my cozy home studio in Oregon’s beautiful Willamette Valley, I use my Photoshop wand 🪄 to bring each printable to life — blending charming artwork, gentle words, and imaginative details into pages that invite you to slow down and savor your memories.

Every collection I design carries a bit of whimsy, reflection, and heart — and I hope you feel that magic each time you print a new page.
